DETAILED GUILD RULES

Profanity is whole heartedly embraced because there is no real reason for a list of "bad words."  If you can say the exact same thing as the bad words without even using bad words, what's the point of bad words?  There's no point.  If you can't understand context and can only see the bad words and take them as being automatically negative, this guild isn't for you.

Rudeness can be a tricky thing.  You can log on and see us telling each other to anally molest ourselves with various objects and fuck each other's sisters and mothers and dead relatives and so on... Once you're around for a bit you'll figure out pretty quickly that we're messing around.  You have to be able to tell typical joking around between actually being a dick.  It's pretty easy to tell, even if you're new as long as you're not OMG PROFANITY IS THE DEVIL.

Examples of a rude person we had in guild, he would automatically harass people asking new player questions.  They would ask a pretty basic question, he would halfway answer and launch on a few sentence long totally rude and uncalled for assault on the person. Again, if you don't know the difference between joking around and being a total dick, you may want to avoid this guild.

Begging is something that you seriously will want to avoid in this guild.  Ask for help, naturally.  You can ask for help as much as you want.  I mean, if you need help, legitimately, ask.   Some strong examples of what I and most other people in guild consider begging.

- If you log on and one of your first few sentences are always related to hoping someone wants to run you through an instance you're a long ways from soloing?  Or an instance you would clearly never get into a party for because you're way too low?

- Constantly asking for money will not get you anywhere.  In fact, it will probably get you muted.  When people ask for money, you can be sure that one of us will actually give a lot of tips on how to best use the Auction House.

The Guild Bank is there for the entire guild's mutual help.  People put in items other guild members may want to use to make questing and running around killing shit easier.  That does not include taking things out to put up on the Auction House to make money.  That's what the money portion of the guild bank is for.  If you really need money, withdraw all the way up to your limit.  If you need more than whatever limit you have and there's more than enough in the guild bank, contact Ponderance and talk to him about it.  Chances are you will be given the money.  But remember, if you take and take and take and don't give, you'll most likely end up at a lower rank with less privileges and probably wont be generously helped in the future.

Attendance is something a lot of guilds demand.  Some want you on for an hour a day.  I'm serious.  I have had the misfortune to be in guilds like that in the past on Mal'Ganis.  Why do we say that we do not require attendance?  We understand that people like to have lives.  And people who actually have lives can truly be so busy that World of Warcraft might not even occur to them for weeks on end.  I myself have done it without even knowing.  Once my account had been expired for over two weeks without me noticing.  It happens to people who have more in their life than World of Warcraft.   Do what you want, we'll be here when you get back.

Guild Wars are not something we are interested in.  I want a laid back atmosphere and I'm going to say this and hopefully only have to really explain this once.  There is nothing less interesting to people looking for a nice place to bullshit with people and hang out than a place notorious for assholes who love pissing people off.  That's not what I'm about.  There is no reason you should smear our name through the mud for your own personal amusement.  We had one guy who wanted to start "beef" with another guild who was trying to dirtily recruit him.   He left to form his own guild because he didn't want to be in a guild with "too many rules."   That's fine.  He can be in a guild that stirs up the shit and piles up the enemies.
